Consider bringing your own snacks and drinks, as food options nearby can be limited and hard to find.

I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly staff at Branford Motel, who made check-in a breeze and helped me feel at home. The room was comfortable and easily accessible for someone my age, which I found delightful.
Bathrooms could use more thorough cleaning.

Can just recommend for a walk in evening
Comfortable room, decent shower, with reliable free Wi-Fi enhancing my stay while the nearby car park made it easy to explore the area without hassle.
Can’t fault anything about it.

The reasons I’m conflicted
The check-in staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Their kindness made the experience slightly better despite the circumstances.
The entire facility was dirty with stick doors and visible drug paraphernalia outside. It felt unsafe and uncomfortable during my stay.

Not for the Faint of Heart
Had a surprisingly large hot tub in the room. The bed was surprisingly clean and quite comfortable.
It wasn’t cheap, but still bearable.

A questionable stay
Found this place as a last-minute option. It’s kinda falling apart, and the vibe is definitely sketchy. The staff was surprisingly friendly, which was nice. The bed was okay, but the bathroom was pretty dirty. At least I could grab some snacks nearby. Just don’t expect too much from this place.

I enjoyed the cozy vibe here, especially relaxing by the pool and taking advantage of the spa bath in my room. There’s plenty of chill time to enjoy some downtime. The only downside was the Wi-Fi being a bit spotty, but overall, it was a nice getaway! 😊

This motel felt more like a trap than a retreat. The overwhelming signs of neglect were apparent, and it appeared that it mostly served less reputable clientele. It was disheartening to see such a place still operating. However, the cheese rolls at the diner were surprisingly good, a small saving grace amid the chaos.

Avoid if possible!
The stay was frustrating. The rooms felt old and poorly maintained, giving an overall unsettling atmosphere. I found the lack of cleanliness around the property alarming. If you must book here, ensure you check the room thoroughly before settling in.

It was just a smart choice for a brief pause in Branford with extraordinarily good value for money. The room had a rustic charm that made my stay moderately comfortable despite the overall state of disarray. Check the locks on your doors before settling in.
